The company motor-tuner.at has existed since 1995 – always at the same premises in Magersdorf near St. Andrä, Carinthia. We are dedicated to the development and distribution of chiptuning and ECO-tuning software.

Our History

In the beginning, only a handful of vehicles could be tuned – for example Audi/VW TDI, 1.8 Turbo, BMW TDS and Mercedes TD. The industry kept moving, and so did we: today we are able to tune all vehicles that can be modified via software.

How Does Chiptuning Work?

The entire engine management of modern vehicles is controlled via software through an engine control unit (ECU). Chiptuning refers to the optimisation of this software – taking into account the safety reserves and without exceeding the stress limits of the engine.

We always work on the basis of the original data: read out, optimise, install. Maintenance and protection functions remain unchanged. The vehicle remains fully diagnosable and retains all fail-safe characteristics.
